Royal Orchid Health & Wellness Policy
The following policies are designed to ensure you fully enjoy your spa experience:
24 hour cancellation policy for single appointments.
48 hour cancellation policy for multiple appointments or Spa Packages. (Booking two or more people in for one service each, is considered multiple appointments).
Failure to notify Orchid Health and Wellness Spa of your cancellation will result in a 100% late cancellation charge.
At Orchid Health and Wellness Spa, we do NOT give refunds on Services Rendered.
Must arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure appropriate paperwork is filled out and service can start on time.
Changes or cancellations require at least 24 hour notice or there is a 50% fee charged at your next visit. the client receiving the service can go into the service area.
To ensure the relaxing atmosphere, we ask that all cell phones or pagers are turned OFF during treatments. Service staff will not perform services if the client is talking on the phone.
Gift cards are non-refundable. Gift cards do not expire.
Please notify Orchid Health & Wellness within one week of service date with any problem and/or concerns regarding your service. We will gladly correct the problem, as refunds will not be given. In the case of manicure and pedicure services: we do not guarantee that the polish will last a specified time period.
“No Show” Policy: If you have not shown up for an appointment, future bookings will have to be secured with a credit card.
We do not refund deposits on account. Deposits on account for services can be made with a credit card, cash, or a valid gift card. If a payment has been made on account for a service and you need to cancel within the appropriate time frame, the deposit will remain on account for a future service or product purchase.
Product Exchange & Return Policy: Due to the nature of the products we sell, we cannot accept returns on products that have been opened and/or used. Unopened, unused products in the original packaging may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase with the original receipts. Please note in-store credits will be issued in place of refunds for unopened, unused products with original receipts.
Prices are subject to change without notice. GST will be added to all services and packages.
Referral Credit Restrictions
Restricted to using One ($10) Referral credit per visit.
Can only be referred to spa once.
Can refer unlimited amount of clients.
Our therapists are RMT. registered & licensed and very well trained. They are specialized in different modalities. We understand all customers have different expectations, we try our best to satisfy our customers. At the same time, we expect all customers to respect our therapists’ hard work. The following rules will apply if a customer feels not happy with a massage session or SPA treatment which is already done.
1) If the massage session or SPA treatment is already finished, the customer must pay for the full price for the session or the treatment. Certain incentives might be provided case by case. But the total incentive can not be more than 20% of the paid session or treatment, and can not be provided by cash.
2) We offer a complain form for the customer to file a complain about the session or treatment, we will make sure next time when the same customer comes. This will help us to improve our service.
Our therapists also have the right to file complain about certain customers. If the customer asks for the illegal services, or the therapist doesn’t feel she or he is respected by the customer, the therapist can stop the service at any time and leave the treatment room. When the therapist files a complain about certain customer(s), the complain forms might be send to police for future check. And the customer(s) with therapists’ complain history are not welcome in our SPA in the future.
Our policies are in place to protect our staff and help new customers understand that Royal Orchid Health & Wellness is strictly non-sexual. Any inappropriate comments or behaviour will immediately end the massage. No refund will be offered and no future possibility will exist to participate in our services.
Personalized Gift Certificates
Give the gift of beauty, body and soul. For Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, or for any holiday, birthday, anniversary, or just to say “thank you” or “I love you”, nothing touches the heart like a Thai Spa gift card. You can never go wrong with a Spa gift certificate. Recipients of our gift certificates are always welcome to exchange the certificate for other services of equal value. Spa gift certificates come beautifully gift wrapped. If the gift card is to be a “surprise” then it is our pleasure to offer overnight, hand delivery, in the greater Calgary area, free of charge.
Royal Orchid Thai Spa gift certificates are non-refundable and do not have any cash value. Gift cards sales are final and not redeemable for cash.
CANCELLATION POLICY –
For your personal experience, a room will be reserved especially for you, therefore we require a credit card number with expiration date or gift certificate number as a cancellation guarantee to avoid a 30% charge of the service reserved. For group bookings of 6 or more, we require a minimum of 5 business days notice for changes.

GROUP BOOKINGS –
• For group bookings of 6 or more we require a minimum of 5 days notice for changes on services or cancellations to avoid the service charge as above.
SPA AMBIENCE –
• Royal Orchid Thai spa endeavours to provide an environment of tranquility and relaxation. Quiet voices are requested and appreciated.
• Please ensure your cell phones turned off for the enjoyment of our other guests.
• Please refrain from bringing food to the spa.
SPA TREATMENTS AND PACKAGES
• Prices and services may, on occasion, be subject to change without notice.
• Spa “packages” are designed to accommodate one individual and cannot be split to accommodate two separate individuals.
• Packages must be performed on the same day.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS –
• Please advise us of any allergies or health concerns.
GIFT CERTIFICATES AS PAYMENT – If you are using a Gift Card to pay for your spa visit, it must be presented at the time of paying for your service. If you have forgotten or misplaced the Gift Card, then an alternative form of payment must be made at the time of service. Your Gift Card will remain valid for a future visit.

Please advise us upon booking of any allergies, ailments, high blood pressure or pregnancy.
You can request to be with the same or a different therapist as on a previous visit. You may also request a male or female therapist.
To avoid any cancellation charges, please notify Royal Orchid health & Wellness no later than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. Providing a valid by major credit card; MasterCard, Visa or American Express number to reserve all appointments is required.
Arriving 5 minutes prior to your first scheduled service will allow you time to change, have a steam, sauna or shower and relax before your treatment. Late arrival will cheat you out of precious minutes of your spa treatment.
Most everything you need is here: shampoo, lotions, toiletries, and Complimentary tea, water and fruit are available. All you need to bring is yourself, and some form of payment for services and for any home care products you may wish to purchase.
